Joe Fletcher is the author of the poetry collections Already It Is Dusk and The Hatch (Brooklyn Arts Press), the novella The Chimeras (winner of Fiction Collective 2’s Ronald Sukenick Prize for Innovative Fiction, forthcoming 2027), a collaborative prose and art book, Sleigh Ride (Bored Wolves, featuring collages by Mikołaj Moskal) and five chapbooks: Giphantie (Anibon, forthcoming), The Parachutist (Ethel Press), Partial Veil (Romance Press), Kola Superdeep Borehole (Bateau Press), and Sleigh Ride (Factory Hollow Press). His scholarly monograph, William Blake as Natural Philosopher, 1788–1795 is published by Anthem Press. Other work of his can be found at jubilat, Octopus, Slope, Gulf Coast, Painted Bride Quarterly, Hollins Critic, Puerto del Sol, and elsewhere. Joe holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts, and a PhD in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he currently teaches in the Department of English and Comparative Literature. He also serves as Assistant Editor of the William Blake Archive.
