Joe Fletcher is the author of the poetry collection, The Hatch (Brooklyn Arts Press), the novella Jenny Haniver (Bored Wolves, forthcoming), and five chapbooks: Kola Superdeep Borehole (Bateau Press), Already It Is Dusk (Brooklyn Arts Press), Sleigh Ride (Factory Hollow Press), Partial Veil (Romance Press), and The Parachutist (Ethel Press, forthcoming). His scholarly monograph, William Blake as Natural Philosopher, 1788–1795 is published by Anthem Press. Other work of his can be found at jubilat, Octopus, Slope, Gulf Coast, Painted Bride Quarterly, Hollins Critic, Puerto del Sol, and elsewhere. Joe holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts, and a PhD in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he currently teaches in the Department of English and Comparative Literature. He also teaches in the North Carolina prison system and serves as Assistant Editor of the William Blake Archive.
